剧情介绍本片描写住在海边的小男孩詹姆士，他原本有个快乐的家庭，突然有一天，天空出现一头愤怒的犀牛，带走了他的父母，让詹姆士顿时成了孤儿，寄住在邪恶的姑妈家，开始他不断遭受虐待的悲惨生活。 幸好詹姆士遇到一位好心的神秘老人，给了他一个装满1000只鳄鱼舌头的袋子，让庭园里的老桃树长出一颗巨大的桃子。小詹姆士便爬进了这颗奇妙的桃子里，认识六只不同个性的昆虫，还结为好友，更相约一起乘著巨桃，前往小詹姆士的梦中乐园纽约。 这趟遥远的纽约之行不但必须横越大西洋，海上的惊涛骇浪更是不断，途中巨桃还因为蜘蛛小姐和海鸥的帮忙，变成了飞天巨桃展开一场有趣刺激的大冒险。
